Networking for Academic and Professional Success
The vision, purpose, goals, and social change efforts of Walden University strongly match with my academic and career goals, especially as I work to become a scholar-practitioner. Walden's goal of giving students the tools they need to make the world a better place fits with my own goal of improving healthcare in areas that need it the most. As a nurse, I want to help reduce differences in health care and improve patient results, especially for groups that are already at a disadvantage. Walden's goal to provide affordable, high-quality education and to involve the community in its work supports my desire to learn more and improve my professional practice in order to have a bigger impact on healthcare policies and practices. Additionally, Walden's social change efforts, which aim to fix global problems like unequal healthcare, are in line with my work goal of becoming a supporter of healthcare reform. Walden focuses on making students into stars in their fields, which motivates me to find a career path where I can combine theoretical study with real-world answers to make big changes in the way healthcare is provided.
The MSN program at Walden fits in with my goals even more because it focuses on learning results and views that will help me grow professionally. It's important for my growth as a nurse leader that the school focuses on leadership, evidence-based practice, and healthcare policy. I want to be a leader in nursing so that I can push for policy changes that make healthcare more accessible to everyone. I want to improve patient care by using study in professional situations, and the program's use of evidence-based practice fits with that goal. Additionally, Walden's multidisciplinary approach helps me learn how to manage the complicated modern healthcare systems, giving me the tools I need to deal with problems in a useful way and help improve patient results. By giving me these things, Walden's MSN program will help me become a scholar-practitioner who can use both academic knowledge and real-world experience to make changes in the healthcare field.
